Stab the entire scene out of wool. The person is a needle-felted figure standing in the same pose, wearing the same layers, with a face that still belongs to them. Compressed merino for the skin, looser wisps for the hair, clothing built from dyed batts that keep the original colours and the original silhouette. Proportions stay adult. This is a craft portrait on a table, not a child's drawing, not a cartoon, and not a knitted sock.
Everything around them is felted as well. Walls are dense batts. Furniture is separate wool objects that keep their function and their place in the frame. Plants are tiny felt leaves on wire. The surface shows puncture marks from the barbed needle, a few pills, and stray fibres catching the light.
Light it like a desk lamp in a craft studio: slightly warm, one direction, a soft shadow of the sculpture falling onto a strip of wooden table visible only at the very bottom of the frame.
Do not smooth the wool into digital skin. Do not switch the medium to clay, porcelain, fabric dolls, or crochet.
