How this works
Swaps the weather, the time of day, or the season — an overcast afternoon into golden hour, summer into snow — and keeps the place itself.
A sky replacement that leaves the ground lit the old way is the most recognisable fake in photography. Getting that right is most of what this does.
Ground lighting, shadow direction and colour temperature are matched to the new sky, and foliage changes to suit the season. Architecture, terrain and anything man-made stay exactly as they are, and the horizon does not move.
