How this works
Raises resolution and recovers fine detail — the job a dedicated upscaler does, not a general edit model asked nicely.
Bring a photo, a render or a scan. It runs on a purpose-built upscaling model, so what comes back is the same picture with more of it resolved, rather than a new picture that resembles the old one.
It adds resolution; it does not add facts. Detail that was never captured cannot be recovered, and this will not invent it — a blurred face stays a blurred face at a larger size. Sharpening compression damage is unpixelate, which is a different question.
