How this works
Swaps what is behind the subject and leaves the subject alone. Not a cut-out pasted onto a stock photo — the model re-renders the background so the light falls the same way on both.
Describe the background, not the picture. “a sunlit linen tablecloth” works; “a beautiful photo of a vase” asks for a new subject and you will get one.
The new background is lit to match your subject — same light direction, same colour temperature — and the shadow where the subject meets the ground stays put. Those are the two things that give a pasted-on background away.
