This is a colour test, not a subject cutout. A green screen or a flat backdrop keys cleanly because the background really is one colour; hair against a busy room does not, because no colour distance separates them. Removing an object is a different kind of tool — Background Remove is where a model cuts a subject out of a room, and it points here for the flat-colour case. The link goes both ways now; it only went one. The export is always PNG — alpha is the point, and JPEG would flatten it to white.
