Ideogram V3 is the type model. Ideogram built it so letters are letters, not texture. On Visxy it is a library prompt that is really a poster, a title card, merch, a pack line — anything where misspelled type ruins the file.
We list V3 on purpose. V4 exists elsewhere; both providers we compare still carry V3, so this is the SKU. There is no Ideogram editor on this catalog row: their edit endpoint wants a mask, and we do not map that shape.
Words inside the picture. Write the phrase. Name the hierarchy (big title, small date) if the layout matters. A Visxy prompt that already contains a headline is the intended input.
What it is not: a beauty-lighting engine. Photoreal skin and product chrome are not why this page exists. If the brief is a 9:16 portrait with no type, you are asking Ideogram to do someone else's job.
There is no V4 and no Ideogram Edit in this catalog. The honest split is type versus photograph. Use V3 when the file fails if the letters fail. Use a photoreal row when there are no letters.
Turbo / Balanced / Quality on this model is effort, not a different Ideogram. Draft on the lighter pass; finish a poster on the heavier one. The catalog will show the names when the row is offerable.
Put the copy in quotes or in a line of its own so it cannot be paraphrased. "Some elegant lettering" is how you get almost-words.
Keep the rest of the prompt short enough that the type stays the subject. A 200-word fashion brief with one logo in the corner will bury the logo.
9:16 from the library maps to Ideogram's portrait preset. Do not hunt for Banana-style ultra-wide strips; they are not this model's frames.
