Flux 2 Pro is the photographer. Black Forest Labs built FLUX.2 [pro] for stills that have to look like a camera met a surface: product, fabric, metal, skin, a room with a colour that has to be that colour. On Visxy it is the image-library prompt that is really a photograph, not a layout.
It is not a mode of Flux 3. Flux 3 makes a clip. This page makes a still. You do not switch 2 Pro "into video." Animate a 2 Pro still by attaching it on the Flux 3 page. It is also not Flux 2 — the cheaper stills SKU. You do not "turn Flux 2 into Pro."
Things. A bottle, a shoe, a watch, a knit that has to read as knit. Other hosts sell Flux on hex-accurate brand colour and product photography at scale. That is the right category even when we have not yet published a Visxy hex test: if the library prompt names a material or a product, this is the model that is supposed to care.
It is also the catalog's photoreal default for beauty and set photography that should look lit, not illustrated. If you wanted graphic, flat, poster type, you are on the wrong page. Flux can put a word on a pack; lettering is not why you open it.
What it is not: Flux 3 with the motion turned off, a 4K print engine (this catalog's Flux stills row is not a 4-megapixel picker), or Dev / Max. Flux 2 is the cheaper stills row. This page is Pro.
Against Flux 2: own family. Flux 2 is the cheaper stills SKU. This is the production still. Same frames, same size steps, different catalog row.
The other Flux comparison is stills versus video. Flux 3 is the moving picture from the same lab. Flux 2 Pro is the photograph. Swap those openings and both pages would be false.
Text-to-image invents the frame from the prompt. Editing is this model with a picture attached — up to several references when a product or a face has to stay itself. auto lives on the edit side, not on a blank generation.
Keep the Visxy prompt's camera and light. Add the material: "ribbed knit," "brushed aluminium," "patent leather," not "8k ultra detailed." Flux responds to surfaces more than to flattery.
If the brief has a brand colour, put the colour in the prompt the way product photographers do — a hex if you have one. Treat that as the experiment, not as a guarantee, until we have a Visxy still to point at.
9:16 when the prompt came from the image library. Flux's frame list is the ordinary set — portraits, landscapes, square — not an ultra-wide banner machine.
No Visxy Flux still is on the board. Other hosts call [pro] the production tier against Dev / Flex / Max. Flex is Flux 2. Do not hunt Dev or Max in the picker.
There is no public Flux 2 Pro Edit page. Editing is this model with a picture attached. Describe the change: "same bottle, colder daylight, keep the label." A new brief ("luxury product ad") reads as start over.
Crop before you attach if you need a different shape from a still that is already wrong. It will not restore missing detail. A small pack shot blown up is a large invention.
To move the still, that is Flux 3, not this editor.
